Efficiency doesn't tell you how much power the panel will produce. Polycrystalline panels can have a higher energy output than Monocrystalline panels, even though the latter are more efficient. Sounds like a contradiction, but it's true.
In Europe, Polycrystalline panels are more popular than Monocrystalline.
